Verdict on the Edge
Recap
The movie follows three female athletes preparing for a big event while managing their studies. However, the pressure begins getting to them as their personal lives become more complicated and challenging.
Best Parts
The three different athletes coming together to support each other during a testing time in life is great to see. We see the different challenges in training, expectations, and backgrounds too. The movie has great performances from the three actors and real-life athletes. Most importantly they address other problems women face in sports and often given different attitudes than the men.
Worst Parts
The sporting achievements is a great part of the movie. However, the romantic side of the story isn’t as interesting as seeing the boundaries broken and cultures respected.
Final Thoughts –The Edge is a great dive into women athletes breaking boundaries.
