A Commonwealth Games hopeful and athlete has been injured while filming new reality series

Daring acts and crazy stunts. They're the gutsy antics needed to break into Hollywood. Packing a solid punch, these aspiring actors are filming a new reality series - "Action Star".
"This is all about giving up and coming new hopefuls for the action genre filmset an opportunity to to be able to fast track straight into action movies". (Glenn Coxon)
The series competitors have been set heart-stopping challenges everyday for a week.
"Tomorrow is V8 Supercars, and skydiving today. We've also had them out wakeboarding and on the shooting range." (Glenn Coxon)
Among them Commonwealth Games hopeful, Jane Larkin.
"Tomorrow I'll be racing in the 200 metres and my pet event at the Commonwealth Games Trials, where they will select the team that will represent Australia." (Jane Larkin)
It almost didn't happen. Jane dislocated her shoulder during filming.
"There was a little bit of indecision as to whether I could even run this coming weekend, but I'm confident that I will be now." (Jane Larkin)
The Sunshine Coast local will showcase her skills in a live final next month. It's now down to the last 12 finalists and they'll battle it out for the grand prize of a movie contract and a trip to Hollywood all in the hopes of one day making it into a blockbuster film.
